As an important partner country along the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, Indonesia has its own unique maritime geographical advantages, rich products, diverse and inclusive culture, open and active investment policies, and continuously improved and convenient investment services. This "emerging economy" country has become an "investment hotspot" that attracts worldwide attention.
Indonesia is the fourth most populous country in the world, with a population of more than 278 million, more than half of which are young people under the age of 30, with an excellent demographic dividend. As a founding member of ASEAN, Indonesia accounts for approximately 40% of the ASEAN market share. According to data from the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics, Indonesia's total GDP in 2023 will reach 2,089.24 trillion rupiah, approximately US$1.36 trillion, with a growth rate of 5.05%, and per capita GDP will be approximately US$4,919.7, ranking first among ASEAN countries.
In recent years, Indonesia has made remarkable achievements in economic development in various fields. From GDP to infrastructure construction, from industrial manufacturing to digital economy, Indonesia is constantly moving towards a higher level. Indonesia and China have had close trade and cultural exchanges since ancient times. Yesterday we were honored to be invited to witness the on-site signing of the cooperation project between Shandong Province enterprises and our Indonesian enterprises. Jining is a famous cultural city in China and the birthplace of Confucianism. It has a long history and a long cultural context.
