Secretary-General Zhou Weiliang said, first of all, please allow me to briefly introduce Indonesian Chinese Entrepreneur Association. Indonesian Chinese Entrepreneur Association was re-established in 2001. It is a national, non-profit Chinese business community established in accordance with Indonesian laws and regulations. Adhering to the founding purpose of "uniting Chinese business enterprises and promoting Indonesia's economic construction", it widely recruits social elites and devotes itself to Indonesia's economic construction. The Association is headquartered in Jakarta, and has four branches in East Java, West Java, Central Java, Bali and East and West Nusa Tenggara. The Association member companies are mainly involved in manufacturing, mining, forestry, construction, banking, insurance, real estate, textiles, food, import and export trade, retail, information and communication technology, logistics supply chain and other fields and industries.
As the largest economy in ASEAN, Indonesia has a population of more than 280 million and is the fourth most populous country in the world. It has a huge consumer market and abundant labor resources. In recent years, Indonesia's economy has maintained a stable growth of about 5% per year, showing strong development resilience. At the same time, the Indonesian government has actively promoted economic transformation, focusing on the development of digital economy, green energy, manufacturing and infrastructure construction, providing broad space and opportunities for foreign investors.
Zhou Weiliang said that Indonesia's investment environment has continued to improve. The government has simplified the investment process through a series of policies such as the "Comprehensive Law on Job Creation", relaxed foreign investment access, and provided preferential treatment in taxation and other aspects. In addition, Indonesia is located in the core of Southeast Asia and is an important node of the "Belt and Road" initiative. Its unique geographical advantages and rich natural resources make it an important choice for the global industrial chain layout.
As a major economic province in western China, Sichuan has significant advantages in electronic information, equipment manufacturing, modern agriculture, cultural tourism and other fields. It has strong industrial complementarity with Indonesia and huge cooperation potential.
Zhou Weiliang pointed out that on behalf of Indonesian Chinese Entrepreneur Association, I sincerely welcome the Sichuan government to lead entrepreneurs to visit Indonesia, find cooperation opportunities, connect with potential partners, and invest in business. The Indonesian market is full of vitality and business opportunities. Let's jointly explore the ASEAN and even global markets to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
