(Jakarta News) Executive Vice Chairman and Executive Chairman of Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia Zhang Jinxiong, Counselor Yu Yu Ling, Vice President Xue Tianzeng, Secretary General Zhou Weiliang, Senior Consultant Yang Bingshu, Forever Honorary Chairman Yang Xiuzhen, Wu Guofu, Zhong Yanzhuo, Xu Jinxiang, Weng Zuhui, He Yiyong, Ji Guozhang, Wu Mingli, Liu Zhengchang, Weng Hualing, etc., at the club on October 19 (Thursday) at 11 am, welcomed the coming of the heads of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Medicine and Health, Zhou Hui and He Chunhong.
Zhang Jinxiong said Indonesia has always attached great importance to its economic and trade cooperation and social and cultural exchanges with China. Since the conclusion of the "strategic partnership" between the two countries in April 2005 and the launch of the ASEAN-China Free Trade Area in 2010, the cooperation between Indonesia and China has been characterized by all-round cooperation in many fields and in many fields. China has become the largest trading partner of ASEAN for seven consecutive years.
At the same time, China is also Indonesia's largest trading partner and the most potential source of investment. Since China leapt to Indonesia's third largest source of investment last year, China's investment in Indonesia has maintained a positive and sound development trend. Statistics from China's Bureau of Statistics show that by the first half of this year, foreign investment in Indonesia has reached 15.5 billion U.S. dollars , An increase of 5.8% over the same period of last year. Among them, Singapore ranked first with 3.6 billion U.S. dollars, Japan invested 2.8 billion U.S. dollars and China continued to spend 1.960 billion U.S. dollars, ranking the third largest source of investment in Indonesia.
The Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia is very pleased to see that more and more Chinese enterprises are going abroad to invest and start business in Indonesia and participate in the economic construction of Indonesia. Among these are not only China's large state-owned enterprises, but also a large number of private-owned enterprises with strong financial strength. They not only have cooperation projects in large-scale construction projects but also have extensive cooperation projects and enterprises concerning livelihood, culture and medicine.
The Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Indonesia will, as always, do a good job in providing platform services to entrepreneurs of both sides with all necessary services and support so as to make contributions to building a prosperous new road and benefiting both peoples.
It is planned to set up China ASEAN Medical and Health Products Exhibition next year
President Zhou Hui pointed out that this trip to Indonesia has three purposes. First, I thank the leaders of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia for their support and care during their nine-year tenure in Indonesia. Second, it briefly introduces the establishment and development of the Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Chinese Medicines and Health Products. Thirdly, it is planned that the first China-ASEAN Medical and Health Care Products Exhibition will be held in Jakarta in the second half of next year in the hope of receiving the support of the Indonesian Chinese Chamber of Commerce and the co-organizers of this event. Fourthly, the Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Chinese Medicines and Health Products hopes to establish long-term cooperative relations with the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia.
Zhou Hui further pointed out that under the strategy of "One Belt and One Road", the Chinese government encourages entrepreneurs to go global and China and Indonesia have great potentials for cooperation in medicine and health products. We hope this exchange will further strengthen the cooperation between the two sides in the fields of medicine and healthcare products Exchange and cooperation.
