It hopes to make a difference in promoting post-epidemic economic recovery and growth, strengthening regional connectivity, and maintaining food and energy security during its rotating presidency. China has been Indonesia's largest international trading partner for many years in a row. In 2022, the bilateral trade volume will reach US$141 billion, a year-on-year increase of 19.8%. This figure is very impressive and a record high. At the same time, with the launch of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RECP), Chinese companies are very optimistic about Indonesia's market capacity and Indonesia's business environment, and they have come to settle and invest one after another.
In 2022, China has become Indonesia's second largest source of foreign investment.
