General Chairman Zhang Jinxiong first expressed a warm welcome to the delegation on behalf of the Indonesian Chinese Entrepreneur Association. Indonesia and China have always maintained good bilateral cooperation. Last year, the trade volume between China and Indonesia was approximately US$149.1 billion, hitting a record high. From January to July this year, published data shows that the bilateral trade volume between our two countries has reached approximately US$80.1 billion. Investment from China is also increasing year by year. From January to July this year, foreign investment in Indonesia amounted to approximately US$24.54 billion. Among them, the total investment from mainland China is US$3.8 billion, ranking second, and the total investment from Hong Kong, China, is US$3.5 billion, ranking third. At the same time, our two sides have also carried out extensive cooperation in infrastructure construction, energy, digital economy, cultural exchanges and other fields, jointly promoting the friendly relations between Indonesia and China.
Zhejiang Province is a major economic province in China. It has the temperament of Zhejiang businessmen who "dare to be the first in the world." The number of Zhejiang companies that have gone overseas to Indonesia in recent years is also quite objective. We look forward to deepening cooperation in areas of mutual interest. At the same time, we sincerely invite and welcome entrepreneurs and investors from Zhejiang Province to come to Indonesia to jointly explore cooperation opportunities in manufacturing, information technology, renewable energy and other fields.
