As one of the largest education systems in the world, China has rich educational resources and advanced teaching concepts. As a first-class university in China and even around the world, Tsinghua University's School of Public Administration MPA-EMBA program has assembled top domestic and foreign teaching teams and rich practical experience to provide students with a unique learning platform and resource support. We are very pleased to see that Tsinghua University is willing to cooperate with Indonesia to bring such high-quality educational resources to this dynamic and potential market of ours.

In the era of globalization and informationization, educational cooperation is not only to enhance students' personal abilities and competitiveness, but also to promote mutual understanding and cooperation between countries. As two important Asian countries, Indonesia and China have a long history and common development goals. Now, China has been Indonesia's largest international trading partner for many consecutive years. In 2022, the bilateral trade volume will reach 141 billion US dollars, an increase of 19.8% over the same period last year. This number is very impressive and has reached a record high.

At the same time, with the launch of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP) and the India-China Bilateral Economic and Trade Cooperation Agreement (BETC), both Indonesia’s market capacity and Indonesia’s business environment have made Chinese companies very optimistic and have stepped forward. Come and invest. In 2022, China has become Indonesia's second largest source of foreign investment, and the economic interaction and business integration between India and China have greatly increased. By strengthening educational exchanges and cooperation, we can promote deeper cultural exchanges between the two countries, enhance friendship, jointly respond to challenges, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

As the top management program in China, the MPA-EMBA program at Tsinghua University School of Public Policy and Management has unique advantages in cultivating leaders and management elites. I believe that such a plan will cultivate more talents with international vision and leadership for Indonesian society and Indonesian enterprises, and inject new vitality and impetus into Indonesia's economic and social development.

We sincerely hope that today’s exchange can become a new starting point and a new highlight for India-China cooperation, and we also look forward to the Tsinghua University School of Public Policy and Management’s MPA-EMBA program playing a greater role in the development of Indonesia. Let us work together to create a bright future for Indonesia-China cooperation!

Finally, I wish Associate Professor Chen and the delegation a complete success in their inspection visit. I wish everyone here good health and good luck in the Year of the Dragon.

Director Chen Tianhao said that the basic goal of the MPA-EMBA program is to cultivate public affairs leaders and high-level management talents who can effectively integrate public value and entrepreneurship through innovation. He explained: “Public value is the guiding force for action, and entrepreneurship represents motivation and innovation. In this program, students from the public sector are encouraged to approach relevant policies with an entrepreneurial mindset, while students from the public sector are encouraged to approach relevant policies with an entrepreneurial mindset. Students in the private sector learn to consider relevant public values in business operations."

In July 2013, Tsinghua University’s Master of Public Administration (MPA) program passed the international accreditation of the Association of Schools of Public Administration (NASPAA), becoming the first public administration master’s degree program in the world outside the United States to pass the NASPAA international accreditation. In August 2022, Tsinghua University’s MPA program passed NASPAA certification again, becoming the only MPA education program in China that has received NASPAA secondary certification. At the same time, City University of Hong Kong Business School is one of the first business schools in Greater China to obtain accreditation from two global business education networks, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business and the European Quality Improvement System.
